LIVE ANIMAL SHIPPING &  GUARANTEE

​

  • When purchasing an animal through Leapin Leachies, we want to make sure you are satisfied with your purchase from start to finish. We will represent the animal exactly as they are, with as accurate of an age and weight as possible.

  • Shipping is $80.00 via FedEx Next Day within the lower 48 states.

  • We ship to the address provided during checkout and are not responsible for incorrect addresses.

  • We recommend shipping to Fedex hub destinations, which usually allows for a 9am pickup. This prevents possible extreme temperature exposure in the delivery trucks.

  • Animal shipments do not ship automatically and must be scheduled.

  • All animals come with a live arrival guarantee. We can not held our responsible for anything that happens after animal arrives, and is in your care. If an animal looks questionable or unhealthy please let us know immediately. Animals are replaced with another of equal value. We do not issue refunds. 

  • We ship Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday only for next day delivery.

  • We will hold your animal if the weather does not allow shipment for any period of time necessary. We do not issue refunds for animals that cannot ship due to weather. We ship when overnight temperatures are between 32 F and 80 F at both origin and destination.

  • We are not responsible for carrier error and/or lost packages.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable.

SEX DETERMINATION POLICY 

​

  • We cannot guarantee the sex of a gecko under one year old of age. We have a 90% success rate in sex determination with a temperature controlled incubation. We guarantee the sex of any geckos over one year old of age or older.

  • Exception: It can be difficult to determine the sex of some Dark Morphs and Trachys at one year of ages. If we note on animal posting, we can't guarantee the gender. 

BUYER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You must schedule your live animal shipment with a Leapin’ Leachies representative.

  • You must make sure that someone is at the ship to address on the day of arrival and is on the lookout for the delivery as we cannot guarantee the driver will knock or ring.

  • YOU MUST CONTACT US WITHIN 15 MINUTES OF DELIVERY TO INFORM US OF ANY PROBLEMS. If this is not done, our live arrival and the health guarantee is voided.

EXPORTING OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES

  • We use a reliable third-party shipper for all exports. Costs vary. Please contact us to arrange all animal exports. All shipping costs are non-refundable.

  • All order shipped internationally are at the buyers’ risk.

  • Our preferred method of payment is credit card, wire transfer, or money orders.
